A draft pick
- VANTEL

JV/Gaudette to BOS for Debrusk/pick makes more sense. Not likely though.

Two truculent guys like Hexie and Burkie? It's a match if there ever was one.

One this is they both have the stones to make a deal. Question is can JB get value?

Ron Hextall to Pittsburgh is just so wrong on so many levels, I'm at a loss for words

Bryan Hextall Jr. was a center for the Penguins from 1969-1974. The Hextall home was in Green Tree, where their neighbors included many other Penguins and Pirates players. Ron, who lived here between the ages of five and nine, has fond memories of street hockey games with Manny Sanguillen and Rennie Stennett of the Pirates.

"I've come full circle," Hextall said, "as I have fond memories as a youth in Pittsburgh watching the Penguins and my father."

Lol. That is awesome. If I knew how to do avatars, I would make one with a Flers Hextall jersey on.

I think any draft pick would be acceptable. He should be getting Zack MacEwen money

It's time for Benning to spark the team by moving on from Travis Green.

All warm and fuzzy, however, Ron Hextall was a Philadelphia Flyer for eleven years, he went to a Cup final with them, he won the Vezina and the Conn Smythe with them, for a goaltender he's the franchise leader in Games Played and Wins....it's just odd with them being bitter rivals.

Maybe he wants revenge?

Due to postponements and schedule reconfigurations, the Blues and Coyotes are now going to play 7 (!!) consecutive games against each other.

Doubt we see any changes happen to the management, might be a long off-season, so they may as well wait

They should make all the series impacted by Covid like this and whoever wins 4 games first gets all 14 points.

Does Pittsburgh even have a 7th, Rutherford was giving out picks at a similar rate as Benning.

Canucks won't get a 7th for Jake without a sweetener.

Pittsburgh is going from one guy, Rutherford, who gives picks away to another guy, Hextall who wants more picks.
Could be interesting to see what that management team does.

Probably not. Sureprised anyone would want to run the Pens. They are doomed if they don’t start a rebuild. JV has negative value and should be a salary dump

Hextall said today he is not one dimensional , he can rebuild on the fly. It will be interesting.
