I know he doesn't have a model attitude, but come on, this is you best scorer on the team by far. - apex123
Tortorella is part of the problem himself. What did that guy do in like, the last 10+ years? Not much. I mean, other than throwing his own players under the bus in public.

He's a short shelf life coach. You can keep him 3-4 seasons, where you team might perform well, before he alienates the locker room and has to be fired.
Armia lost 20 days already with the team since the concussion./..yet the player who concussed him has lost zero days with their club...how is this fair DoPS?

I'm not going to defend DoPS, however their job is to punish cause regardless of effect instead of effect regardless of cause. Again I'm not defending them but clearly their opinion was that in this case and the others, the cause was within the acceptable limits

I say they should just punish "cause they're WRONG" more often than not.

100% agreed, intent or injury should not be considered while establishing the consequences/suspension length. but it's pretty apparent the NHL needs to go back to the drawing board, because either the way the rule is formulated or the way it is interpreted makes no (frank)ing sense.

The worst punishment for Myers is to actually be forced to play this season and suffer like the rest of his teammates.

Yup something is clearly wrong with the rule book...im just glad KK wasnt injured on the dubé hit. Losing Armia is one thing but losing a centre would be much worse

I thought you were gonna go with the old "losing an Armia is one thing but losing a leg would be much worse" joke lolololl
