I think he should play in case of a shutout, considering he isn't just a rookie goalie, but other than that I'd put Price in on saturday. there's enough controversy with Price and other players on the team as it is lolll - Pat1993
In my opinion, the Habs are, at best, an extreme long shot to win the Cup this year but if they're even going to sniff it, it's likely on Carey's back. I can't imagine them thinking Allen is their key to winning a Cup. So you have to think they're going to give Price every opportunity to figure himself out even if it takes a while.
And that's all before you look at the obvious contractual reasons that they'll give him the time to get it together

I also think there's good reason people are questioning him, but as for last night, the Habs scored two goals. I was never a fan of his but I liked the Michel Therrien line about you needing three goals to win most nights in the NHL. The Leafs didn't play their best game last night but for the most part looked like the better team, certainly the more dangerous team. That's not on Price. Price has his stuff to work out but the team as a whole hasn't played well for a few games now. That Holl goal is about the best metaphor for the Habs right now because absolutely everybody had some blame on it with no good excuse
It's a bit of a slog to get full time then tenure here, but you're almost untouchable after that - mr.peanut
I don't think tenure exists in Ontario beyond getting to full pay. Otherwise I'd say it's the same. I'm actually not sure what you'd have to do to get fired, I'd be interested to find out where the line is as I've seen some crazy stuff and they stay on contract

a couple of years ago a teacher got fired for hitting a kid. turned out 20 years earlier he got fired from an Ontario school for offering a student money for sex or something. Basically the union got that erased from his reason for termination so he didn't need to disclose it when applying here

some good news?
my brother's 2 kids (6 and 8) tested positive for covid. after more than 10 days, no symptoms what so ever.
as for him, staying with them 24/7 for that period, he tested negative.

that's crazy, especially when you consider some got sick just because of a trip to the grocery store

Seems to be a weird virus. There are some people who barely have symptoms, and others who feel like they got run over. - stinger67
and the degree to which it's contagious seems to vary a lot as well... one thing the government has completely missed the ball on imo is insisting on how important it is to have a healthy immune system, taking enough vitamin D, etc.. it's one thing to be careful and stay at home, but if your immune system is poop you're obviously more at risk of getting it

Been on the front lines every day since week 1 and never got anything. I'm pretty surprised. - AdamFrench
by "frontlines", you mean you're working directly with covid patients? and do you get tested regularly? I heard there's a new mouth rinse and gargle test, should be more comfortable than having a pole inserted in your nostril lol

No. Been working in the office and interacting with the public with no idea who has it or not. Btw, if anybody wants to argue that isn't "frontline" work, I will fight you.
