Throw more at the net, less contested east to west passes infront of the net. It's like they think they're playing on xbox.

Those passes drive me crazy! Also, SHOOT THE PUCK!

So you still think Howden is way better than Bennett
- TPC

I have always maintained that they are BOTH bad, and that Bennett isn't the upgrade many here feel that he is....

Who would he bump? Bitetto or Hajek?

Yea he did. This is a reason why laf is here on this list:

Points after 12 games by 1st overall picks (Since 2000):

16: Kane
15: Crosby
13: Ovechkin (D+2)
12: McDavid
11: Matthews, Nugent-Hopkins
9: Tavares
8: Kovalchuk, Yakupov, Hischier, McKinnon
7: Hughes
6: Hall, Johnson (D+2), Ekblad
5: Nash
4: Stamkos, Dahlin
1: Lafrenière

- nyrangers2

This list makes me nauseous. I have all the patience in the world for this kid. But not for his line mate choices.

Now we may have a part of the reason why TDA was so easily dispatched.

All 3 are left shot but seems like Hajek can at least somewhat play his off side, plus Bitetto isn't viewed as someone we will keep long term so I would imagine it is him that get's bumped so we can keep looking at Hajek.

Any of us who are going to close the book on this kid after 12 games should have the decency to (frank) RIGHT OFF!!!!!!!!!!

That's what I thought. Bitetto needs 15 more games to be eligible for exposure to Seattle, so I'm sure he will get at least that many.

Agree.
I never thought I would miss Chytil this much. They’re going to do some damage together.

Its not like I didn't want that, too.
But, the fact remains that he got 0 preseason games and a 10 day training camp as an introduction into the best league in the world. If he had come out guns blazing it really would've been nothing short of a miracle.

I would move a few of these energy guys into the top lines to try and shake up the top 6. Sometimes you need to give guys a different look to get them out of their funk. They’re looking for what’s always worked for them but right now it’s just not working. Get them out of their comfort zone and make them have to think about the plays they’re making rather than what’s worked in the past.

Because the comp on draft night by Bob McKenzie and Richard Button was “he’s more Ratanen, than McDavid”, I’d like to know Miko Ratanen numbers after 12 games, if possible.

Granted that was split over parts of 2 seasons he had an assist in his 14th game and a goal in his 17th game. Played 75 games that 2nd season, had 38 points and was a -25. So he was given a lot more flexibility to grow it seems.

Interesting, I think because Laf was a number #1, he’s going to be compt to other #1’s, and that may be a bit unfair. Obviously, he’s not a generational player, I. e. Crosby, McDavid etc. However, it doesn’t mean he cannot be a solid two way 30 goal scoring winger. Let’s not forget who became Ratanen’s center. Some kid named MacKkion.

Take a lot more than this to give me a big head. Besides, there are ample egos on here, don’t have to worry about me.

Mostly like the idea, the only top 6 guy that has been playing well is Buch, although the bottom 6 has really started to gel so I'm not sure how much I'd shake things up.

Why the hell did Buch try to pass in OT?
This place must have been a poopshow last night.
