A lot of players are "looking pretty good" when they play against the Canucks. Spezza, Simmonds, Lucic, Kassian, the list goes on. Players careers are being revived due to how bad the Canucks are. - Bakwas
That's nothing new man we have been a red carpet for that sh!t for decades...

All 3 pairings kinda suck, there’s no chemistry.
I’d just pair Hughes and Schmidt together then run Edler-Myers as the other pair but try to keep them away from speedy top lines, the 3rd pair can just be OJ-Benn - Nucker101

He won't be part of the future so he would only be a band aid. - VANTEL
I've been anti Baercthi for the most part but this club needs an injection of something. May as well use the guy for what he's being paid and get him to score before he gets hurt. Injuries will start to mount soon we have seen LE I think we will see Baertchi at some point.
Even after the Canucks lost some Important players from last years team I believe that they are still a talented and even dangerous club to play, I think Benning has done a darn good job as G.M. except for hiring Travis Green, Green has to go to get It turned around.

I think it’s kind of personal between him and the organization ever since Benning publicly called him soft lol

I'm more of on this side of the fence try a different voice in the room.. Personally I don't think Green wants to be there anymore after getting no contract offer and it's filtering into the room that he just doesn't give a f*uck. My take.

I don't think Baer is the one to blame.. not like he's not showing up and trying. For hockey/personal reasons he isn't on the team by JB's and TG's hands.. but I've said before I don't think he'd be much worse than anyone else in the bottom 6 at this point.
Maybe..but seriously are you as pro or not? Want to play or not? I get it it's a factor some of the back door sh!t that is said but wow be a pro. - LordHumungous
I think Sven is seen as a temporary fix ( he is not really though). I think instead of hiding the problem fix it. I would really rather lose as I am looking for the player of the future instead of inserting Baertschi. He is a good AHL player but a mediocre NHL player. He also has a fourteen day isolation .Try Michaelis

Worth a shot at this point fu*ck he'll probably score 15 goals before he goes down to injury lol - LordHumungous
lol the only reason I bring up Baertschi is because they used the 2nd round pick that we gave up for him on Rasmus Andersson, who has turned into a superb D-man for Calgary. I was saying to Vantel yesterday, its the same reason I don't want management to dish out any more picks, especially those in the first 3 rounds, cause you never know when you will hit with a Hoglander/Andersson/Madden/Kucherov/Marchand/etc.

I liked what Bailey brought and I hope they build a third line that can score. They could use a tougher fourth line and \I don't mean Jake. - VANTEL
I haven't seen anything of note from Bailey besides some decent wheels.
I noticed him out of position at times, sort of scrambling on his first call up.
He had chances and didn't capitalise last game.

All for letting some other guys get shots (Michaelis, Hawryluk), but it's also a fine line between winning now, building value to sell at the TDL (if they're in that position) for guys like JV, and getting new guys into the lineup.

Where is that dude?
Has there been any updates?
TDL can't come soon enough.
Dump as much as you can that is not the core and give Lind, Bone et al a look.

MacEwen's mom: Kinda hard to be a difference maker when you only get to play under 4 minutes! Maybe I'm just being a "hockey mom" but when I watch teams "rolling" their lines and having success, especially with this brutal condensed schedule it makes me wonder what would happen if we did that!
