Happy about the effort, too bad about the result. For those saying “if not fir the lucky goals”... I’d ad Boeser’s goal to that list too. Great play to generate the chance, but realistically, that puck would normally be covered or cleared before Boeser finds it a full second after his original shot.
Both guys give up 3 in their last outing, does Green go with Demko on Sat or with the more experienced Holtby?

Thanks Carol.

the team has definitely played better in the last 2 games but let's not kid ourselves into thinking they "deserved" to win either of them.
i'll remind everyone that they scored only 1 goal last night as well as in the "better" last game versus the leafs.
scoring 1 goal per game does not constitute deserving to win (nor does it give credence to the goalies being the main reason for losses.)

"Calgary held the physical edge as a team." Good point Carol, especially with us playing CAL 3 more times, expect some more punishing hits to be doled out. Regretfully VAN's not the kind of team to push back physically.

Canucks aren’t considered speedy either. Stuck in no-man’s land. They’re just known for their top guys having skill, but as a team there’s no identity

MTL adds 5-7 players and gains an identity according to Bieska....
There's a reason why the ref standing 5 feet away didn't call a penalty on Lucic... It wasn't a penalty. Just because a player gets injured doesn't constitute a need for a penalty to be called.

Umm, nobody's really arguing the point. Unlucky play for Bailey. Now GTFOH.
