bah, he'll be fine. I'm sure he got the message and will bounce back.

Hopefully... the left side is not exactly an organizational strength at the moment

Right... and they have Fonstad and Teasdale on the left side, so if Tuna leaves, he'll need to be replaced externally

yeah, I don't see Teasedale being more than a 4th liner

it's just that ideally you want them to be on their strong side to make and receive passes. plus they have played at that position all their life.
they'll probably have to make a trade or 2 eventually to balance that out.

I agree... maybe Poehling becomes an option on LW, he's not there yet... wonder why Fonstad never got an invite to the Rocket's camp?

I wouldn't move Caufield over, his one timer is pretty effective from that side

true, but they have him playing C in Laval. if HE could pan out that would be very cool. he has all the tools. size, speed, a decent shot.. I too see him on LW.

One thing I want to see is Romanov play on left side I think now they don’t have an ideal person for that in the roster. It really should be Fleury in that side with Romanov on the left.

Who knows maybe try some these guys in different spots they may play better, but try Caufield now when he is with the Badgers and see

Bouchard is also playing Weal as 1st line C while Hillis isn't even playing...

Not too excited about Poehling maybe I had been high on him but he hasn’t pan out and don’t think he will

I think it's more a question of maturity in his case. patience.

Fleury should be in Montreal for sure

Petry with Romanov and Edmundson with Fleury, hard to break up Petry/Edmundson now I guess

tbh, he played really well. he's at the right place in the AHL.

I'm sure he is.... but the organization might be better served having a look at prospects getting some minutes

like you said Hillis is injured. what is Bouchard supposed to do?
the experience of the AHL is also about learning to become a pro (Poehling and Fleury) and winning. vets like Weal or Ouellet will help in that way, they have to play. can not dress 20 kids.

Interesting prospect indeed... Romanov, Guhle and Norlinder could make for a solid left side a few years down the road, here's hoping anyway

Harris and Struble also are interesting on the left side as prospects
