Markov was mostly healthy if you actually look at the stats. He played 10 games shy of 1000 in the NHL, all with the Habs :

He missed a ton of games from 2009 to 2012, he did play almost 1000 games coz he stayed with the Habs the whole time, had he not had those injuries (thanks to Eric Staal) he would be even better.
Time will tell what kind of D Romanov will be, I certainly hope he is a bit of both and more towards the offensive type

Brunet had a good point the other night on rds. he said Habs should hire a retired LHJMQ ref to drop the puck at practice. might be worth it.
