It's true. He was slow to improve but it was clear he was making progress after his time in the AHL, there were times last year where we saw flashes of what he could be but he has never once been given the benefit of the doubt.

Honestly it seemed like he and Green had a connection through their time together in the AHL.

Although when he was at his best last year was when Miller was repeatedly kicking him in the ass to keep him going, I think it may be more of a case of needing the right teammates/locker room culture rather than specific coaching. He would probably thrive in Vegas or Boston.
