Pearson Tavares Hyman would be a decent 2nd line
Tavares has turned Josh Bailey into an all star 😳
It’s funny, the Leafs fans think Demko sucks 😔 - mr.sir
Tavares for Miller and Loui Eriksson or GTFO |

No one feels bad for someone making 5 million dollars a year but there are human sides to things whether we admit it or not. Regarding his play.
It’s been a fcuked up year!! - Pacificgem
I agree, but nobody here is “in the room”, nobody here talks to people who are in the room and so nobody here knows if anyone is a cancer (man I hate that term) in the room.
For all we know Miller is the same, positive, motivating leader he was last year but the team still sucks. |

I don’t feel sorry for him, I’m just saying there are probable reasons (outside of hockey) why he’s struggling a bit this year. - Pacificgem
So a bit of Tryamkinitis for JTM? |

Pearson should be traded off for a draft pick. Probably even Jake . Miller should be a one on one move if they are serious about moving him? I don't know that they are. - VANTEL
i've been thinking about what FA's statement re: JB means for this season.
imo, there are 2 indicators as to what FA's intentions are: 1) what moves (or lack of moves) JB makes at the TDL; and 2) whether TG gets fired or gets a new contract before the end of the season.
if there is lack of movement on both of these issues, i think FA's already made his mind up about firing both but is waiting for the offseason rather than leaving a huge hole in the organization mid-season. the only thing that will save JB is a huge run. even with a huge run, i still see TG fired.
edit: they shouldn't be trying to move JTM yet. talk about selling when the value is diminished! that's why there should be (!) several GMs inquiring about him but they're looking to poach a player at his bottom rather than give up full value in return. if they really want to trade him (i'm not convinced), rehab his game, let him put up some points and then see what tdl value is. |

Not for me, Tryamkin missed his mommy, Miller is having issues being away, in my uninformed opinion, from his two kids who are 3 & 2 as well as his wife. Different scenarios for me. |

The guy has 13 points in 15 games, offensively he’s doing ok but like the rest of the team his giveaways and defensive side of the game are horrible. |

Makita said some pretty smart words last week. Benning is GM until he is not GM . Green is coach until he is not the coach.
I had read that Canucks were kicking tires on the Dzingle trade two days ago so it seems like it is business as usual.
This upcoming draft is where you need really strong scouting because of lack of access. The RFA and UFA( Edler ) signings all seem pretty straight forward.
I am going to try to stay out of the Benning discussions as much as possible (for me) and until he is fired it is business as usual.

Green is probably coaching him to play like that...
The point is, we only know what we can see on the ice, not what people are thinking, or the dynamic in the dressing room. |

if we all had that attitude, there would be no need for a message board. the only thing that keeps us coming back is the need for us to tell everyone, what we'd do!
sure this draft is important but they all are. i think the team is at the point where the gm has to have better vision for the future and the cap.
i don't care that chris gear is handling contracts now. it's still jb's decisions as to who gets the contracts. i liked this offseason because of the contracts jb didn't sign. but i'm also of the opinion that he didn't sign those contracts because he handcuffed himself with his cap mismangement. if that handcuff wasn't there, he'd handcuff him (or the next guy) for the next couple/three years. and now is when the team can't afford to waste any cap dollars if they want to take the next step. |

Jim Benning had/has no “vision”, he’s continually just threw poop against the wall to see what sticks and that mentality’s failed him miserably.
As a whole the organization needs to structure itself, again in my humble opinion, like a professional organization with an experienced president and let the chips fall where they may from there. |
