I went for a coffee earlier and Bertuzzi was talking about a player not wanting to be here. Don't know if he was talking Jake or JTM ? I only caught two minutes of it.

He's still a PPG player and has had the best year of his career in a Canucks uniform. He may be pissed we lost some players and he missed his cup in Tampa but oh well...sometimes the players have to understand it's a business as much as a sport.

Purse strings are tight, Pearson's making $3,750,000, he'll want more $ & term. He'll be able to choose from several teams. He won't get traded by VAN.

I would think Tippett would be part of any package with Florida.
They have a chance to make some noise this year and Miller would be a nice fit there and it gives Canucks a future replacement for Miller in the top 6.
