No Biggy, I'm however concerned that the first Phil that comes to mind to you in a semi-awake state is Kessel

EE has an article talking about how it's a cap move to try and save space for deadline moves or for performance bonuses on the ELCs of Suzuki, Kotkaniemi and Romanov which I hadn't thought about as those carry over to next year if you don't have space this year - which is what (frank)ed Chicago back in the day with Toews and Kane. He also mentioned MB saying Caufield will be a pro next year essentially meaning Tatar will not be back, at least per EE's opinion

i mean we all knew this anyway
Tatar seems to know it as well

It's very likely yes.

Then again, if he had another great season, like 47 points in 56 games.

How could you not consider bringing him back?

It started off well before the whole team going into a slump.

Agreed but you'd think either way it would benefit him to play the way he did last year so that he can get paid by somebody

With Caufield on the team next year, Armia becomes a 4th line player... I guess that also depends on Tatar but either way, the RW is pretty stacked for quite some time
- obie

MB also said he expects Harris to turn pro at the end of his season if they can get the details worked out which would be great to see

The habs are moving in a position to go deep in the playoffs, before Price and Weber are too old. Tatar is a career playoff underperformer. (11 points in 35 games), I would go for a guy that scores a little less in regular season but is more suited for playoff hockey

Unless Edmundson gets taken by Seattle giving him the end of this year and hopefully all of next in Laval would be great

There was an article about it a few months back.

It's very hard because you don't want to burn bridges with your loved ones and leave them to these crazy theories.

On the other hand, it becomes pretty much impossible to be with them without turning a conversation into a poop show.

Honestly, the only thing you can do is focus on the love and the trust in the relationship, trying to make the other person focus on preserving that above all else.

It's no easy task.

Kinda reminds me of how we had to handle my drug addicted cousin actually...
