Chiefs FYI;
Just like the last two games if we win the next two we’ll be in an even better position. |

Hang on, going to have to do some more complicated math this time. I'll need some assistance.

Schedule is great they play the Sabres 3x in a row and well as the caps and a few others, makes the games better as they don't like each other |

I hope they keep that Beau/JGP/Whalstrom line together for a while. They looked great and once Beau gets his hockey legs back 100% it will just get better.. actually liked all those lines last night. wouldn't mind seeing Bellows in for MDC though.. |

I will say one thing about Buffalo.. nice to play a team that is not flopping all over the ice looking for penalty calls.
Butch is right on that slashing call on Pelech. If you hit the stick and the guy drops it b/c he isn't holding his stick tight enough it shouldn't be a penalty. If you break the stick by all means... penalty, but tapping a guy's stick and him dropping it should be a non call... it's dumb. |

I thought Wahlstrom had his best game last night, he played well.
I will also continue to disagree with a lot of people here about Dal Colle. He's clearly not going to create offense ever, but he forechecks really well and does a lot of little things. He doesn't belong in a top-6 role, but I think he is a perfectly fine option for a bottom-6 spot. Especially as some of the fourth line guys start to approach the end of their tenure with the Isles. |

I have to agree that MDC has been playing much better as of late. As you said he has been noticeable on the forecheck. With Him and Wahlstrom, picking up their game it makes for more competition in the lineup that in the past were typically taken by Leo, Johnston, MK etc. Nice to see them getting time in the line up, they deserve it. |

I don’t think anyone disagrees with this? My problem is he has been playing on the 2nd line. He doesn’t belong there imo. |

I thought playing Buffalo was the perfect chance to see Wahlstrom with Barzal. Wahlstrom has looked good.
MDC if he keeps this play up is fine in a bottom 9 role. He is just miscast in the top 6. |

MDC is on the 2nd line but he played 4 minutes less than his linemates last night.

Me thinks Lou doesn’t see Bellows as a long term solution. He has tried to trade him once already, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone this off season. |

Bellows does not seem to be in the long range plans as of now. It's strange because he did not seem to be playing badly? |

Trade deadline would be my thought on bellows. As for the previous comments I like the 26 44 18 combo it opens up space for 44 and he's burried the puck of late. Mdc adds a good defensive element to Nelson and eberle and I think allows them to have 3 scoring lines and a 4th line too |

In theory, no he absolutely doesn't. But I think there's a been plenty of "bottom-six talent" that's technically played in the top-six before in recent years (leaguewide).
But he's impressed me this season, he's tenacious on the forecheck and busts his ass out there. He could be a valuable role player down the line. |

He’s definitely better and has improved his game. I completely agree but for a team that has trouble scoring for the most part having a guy that can’t score in the top 6 makes zero sense to me tenacious or not. |
