Comparing zoos in Poland and Quebec. It's a real nails biter. As part of it, I calculated that a person in North America, tourist or local, was 36 times more likely to visit a zoo than someone in Africa. - jugkope
well, I guess the African wildlife is already impressive by itself, so why bother having zoos lolll

Vodka, Kalhua and Chocolate Milk....
Gunpowder eh? I'll have to try it, I usually go with Aviation or Boodles |

You'd think so, BUT after North America the second region that had the highest ratio of people-to-zoo-visits was Oceania; my guess is that it's because the highlights of Africa are that much more common in developed country zoos, unlike Australia and New Zealand where you have some endemics that are not hardly exported like koalas, tree kangaroos, platypus, kiwi, etc. |

I was really impressed with it
(btw the bottle is blue, but the gin is clear)
and those brown cows do sound delicious, although I'd probably have only 1 or 2, too much sugar and alcohol makes me nauseous |

As far as I know it doesn't, I made it up - I made a lot up so far in my paper. I basically took regional population, number of international arrivals, did some multiplications to account for regional being there all year long vs tourists' limited time, then added and used the new value to divide the official number of visits - which I then multiplied by 1000 to get a number above 0.001 |

well I guess part of writing a thesis is coming up with your own conclusions and bring something to the table that hasn't been covered yet

if you got "carried away" like that it's probably a sign you're actually interested in what you're writing on. my best university essays were the ones where I could choose the subject I wanted, it helps a lot |

you do know that if you shovel it ahead, and again and again... you will end up to the street but it takes much more time |

you need a snowblower. mine died and i haven't replaced it because we hadn't been getting much snow the last few years. today is only the 3rd day in Feb it hasn't snowed.
the piles are taller than i am in some spot and there is only one place to go with it between the houses. its halfway up my neighbors house. |
