Actually I think he's tried some different things in the previous two seasons. He even tried to wear all black and orange pads to go with the current Flyers alternate unis, but I believe he only did it maybe once or twice because he admitted it was harder to see the puck.
But don't all goalies routinely change out their padding, blocker, and gloves as the wear out even if it's the same design? I thought I heard that the go through maybe 2, sometimes 3 sets in a typical season. And they have to be broken-in, like a lot of other gear. - Bendecko
2 or 3 sets per season? I find 3 is a bit much, but if it doesn't take a lot time to "break-in" the new gear then I guess it makes sense. I wouldn't know, my current glove has duck tape on it lolololl |

A lot keep a practice set and game set. Usually goalies change the design when the company has a new line coming out. |

personally I would find that weird and would rather keep the same equipment for both, but it's not like those guys had to pay for the gear or anything

Practice sets usually are more broken in therefore harder to clear picks away since they have less bounce |

Also the catchers in practice that have an extra pad over the palm, which isn't allowed during a game |

yeah I guess it's very useful if you can avoid unnecessary injuries during practice

I would do something like this before each game instead, just to stand out
- Pat1993
Remind me of that guy. that I franking hated and played only 1 year with us, fell and stopped with his face while running to first base, definitly in the top 10 moment in my life I laughed the more. The other team pitcher was crying
halfway to the base, priceless |

That's like the third time they've been on the Covid protocol since the season started.
What a mess.

i actually can't deny they're pretty awful. always drunk and rowdy and most of them reek like cigs. eagle fans are even worse. |
