Whelp, on the subject of the isles. I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one that was concerned about a letdown after two games against the Buffalo Vid's. The next game is going to be very telling about just where we are as a team.

I hate to burst your bubble, but I am self-aware enough to know Ross Johnston would push my poop in on the rink. I’m not delusional enough to think I have a chance out there. I’m also 44, so I would be done in about 5 minutes also.

I didn’t feel especially good about this game but the Pens really looked better then I expected. I agree going to be interesting to see how they respond especially after that Matheson hit on Barzal. Since trotz has taken over we usually respond with a win and that’s how we retaliate so I’ll go with that for next game.

This game IMO, was a game where they were the better team but didn’t finish their chances. That said Pitts and this offensive talent obviously did finish. That said this game was closer than the score and you have to give kudos to Pitts for their D game.
