What were you realistically expecting as a return? It was obvious that he was getting dealt, so the Eagles were not dealing from a position of strength. He has an injury history, was awful last year, and carries a huge contract for the next couple of years. No GM was going to be handing out first round picks for that.

Not sure you can completely blame all of that on him if reports are true that they had a better offer from the Bears and Wentz would’ve nixed any potential trade because he preferred Indy and scared off Chicago. I understand his reasons for preferring Indy but he had no leverage and made his own bed. If that’s true, good riddens and that’s coming from someone who generally gave Wentz the benefit of the doubt. I’m glad this distraction is gone.

It’s just another straw among many why Roseman needs to go.
