they aren't looking to move Eichel and if they did to the Rangers unless the name Lafreniere is the starting point, you will never see that trade.

No. F the rangers! Ziban too old.

Byfield.

Both Tachucks

Or ducks.

That’s it. Those are your starting points. Every other team interested is used to drive up the cost.

Edit: maybe NJ. MAYBE!

How do we know anyone is soft? People keep saying it... what does it mean? We're in a crappy system designed by a guy who is not an expert in the game. I don't know how we can make any sweeping judgements about anything or anyone. This is a league built on speed now - hitting isn't it what it was 20 years ago. I don't watch us lose and think its because we are soft.

I'm starting to think the Rangers aren't good trading partners.

You're going to lose Mika, unless you overpay for him, and don't we have enough contracts we regret?

so McDavid is soft then.

He’s the best player in the game. You comparing Tage to McDavid?

Why would anyone want Zibanejad? Lafreniere is a winger. Cozens might be a RW. Mittlestadt might be a depth LW if he's anything at all. Who the hell is playing center on this team?

Man, these proposals are just awful

Of course we will need real, experienced, successful hockey management in place.

Pretty sure after last night we can hope for the best it's Cozens.

Cozens gets in a fight and suddenly he's Mike Peca? Cmon, he hasn't even played center yet. You all are getting blue collar fever

Yawn.

You asked what makes them soft and received answers from others describing what soft is as exemplified by the Sabres. You can't recognize it, so blow 8t off as a reason for their continued success over the last 10 years. And if you can't admidt PO hockey is even tougher than regular season when soft = losses...ok, I guess.

you know your team sucks ass when all we have to root for is a 19 year rookie getting in his first NHL, and he admits that he did it to fire his team up, after the game before his teammates were calling for someone to fight.

isn't that like getting flowers for your wife after she mentions to you that you never get her flowers anymore?

Well done on that. Made me laugh. By the way, Buffalo is a banking town.

M&T is the 15th biggest bank in America HQ'd here with Key Bank holding offices and HSBC still holding corporate offices at the atrium near the arena

Perfect example... Tampa = soft, all the talent. Mud stomped in the playoffs... next year, Tampa adds “blue collar” “grit” in maroon and gourde (I think) and bogo (he had a lil blue left in his collar).... and boom. Cup.... you need both. Sabres have had very little with too many varieties of systems and philosophies. And now a coach who can’t coach to his talent. Which equals 2 monkeys humping a hockey puck on a zamboni with Tage driving

I just don't understand where the "Buffalo is a tech hub" rhetoric came from and why people keep trying to make "fetch" happen, it's been a decade of hearing this crap now and it's no more true now than it was then.

Last I checked, largest employer in Buffalo was Tops Friendly Markets, and we all know close to half of all people work in the service industry - That's where the jobs are in Buffalo.

Bar-tenders, Servers, Food-Service Workers, Grocery/Convenience Store Employees, Auto-Repair, etc...
