Finally on Rathbone, kid isn't getting games etc here and as a21 y/o needs to develop. He shoulda been there sooner imo.

Any discussion on the Calder, has to include Ty Smith of the Devils. He has only played 10 games, half of what Hoglander has played and has 8 points, is a plus 6 and plays anywhere from 19 to 24 minutes per game.
He should be the leading candidate as of right now.

That's now 5 games where we've not shown the tire fire of a defensive structure (except maybe in 2-3 shift spurts, but whose counting). Man, what a little practice does for us. This is looking up. W & L aside, the structure is back. Thank god!

OJ is looking great and confidence and body language improving.

JV just needs to go. Uninterested out there again with the shift changes deep when his line was cycling the puck I caught him heading off the ice a few times

It has to be either zero Hockey sense or he just needs a fresh start with a different coach/voice. I'm gonna go with no Hockey Sense for the most part lol
