Seattle only has to take on about 49 million of salary though. So if they aren't getting some big sweeteners, I don't see them being willing to take a big cap hit from teams.

Don't see teams doing that to the same extent as they did with Vegas. A lot of those teams got burned in those trades. GMs took notes

Sure, I would expect them to try that as well, but the world has changed since that expansion draft.
Will Seattle want to be maintaining a high cap in the next couple years, when no one knows when arenas can be at full capacity.
How many teams will want to part with good young players/prospects/picks when they are also trying to rebuild/get better in a league that is getting faster.

I would bet a team like Anaheim, who gave away Theodore, would like to have that deal back, same as Florida, etc.
It will be interesting to see Seattles strategy.

If you put Loui in Utica and replace him with Pods you save money. Same as replacing Roussel with Lind you save cap. If the GM has the balls you can clean up Beagle Roussel Loui Ferland and Jake and rebuild your back 6.

I am expecting the Canadian universities to become a lot more popular over the next few seasons.Expect to see some of the late bloomers and not so high profile players taking that route for a career.
