Honeymoon is over real quick there

To be honest, it's more the Flames than it is Marky. He's been great for them. The team around him... not so much.

- NewYorkNuck

I am going to disagree. He has let the first or second shot in three games in a row. That is not good goal tending. You pretty well start every game from behind.

He has a history of doing that.

I’d be ok with him back there providing he’s matured. Our defence is such a mess. We have two NHL defencemen signed for next year, Myers and Schmidt, Quinn Hughes and Juolevi will get signed as they’re RFA’s. If Benning is still here he’ll undoubtedly re-sign Edler as there’s no one to replace him.

Doesn't hurt to take a look at him.

It's a nice distraction for Canuck fans until their tire fire resumes.

Marky has been pretty solid for them up until the past 3-4 games he's started. You could see it coming with the fatigue setting in. CGY-VAN very similar right now with a major lack of consistency from the rosters. We had a great chance to jump ahead of CGY in the standings but yep...back to basics lol

Maybe the armchair GM's could help...

He has a history of doing that when he's overworked, which he is. I thought he would have a drop off in his game once things got tough – he doesn't have Clark there to recenter him.

I have seen at least 10-12 games that he has let in one of the first 3-4 shots. That is not good

There's not much going on in the world to be overly happy about right now, may as well take the schadenfreude when you can

We should expand it then . I am happy Habs have lost 4 of their last 6 .

I am happy Ana had to put a player in year two of his contract on waivers.

I am happy Tavares Nylander line suck.

I am glad Nuck Ups keyboard has incited an inquisition .

I am really happy about Rangers failures and Lafreniere's ineptness.

I can go on but that is enough for now.

Haven't heard much from Benning lately, it seems he's in hide mode.

I couldn't tell you the last thing I heard coming from anyone of them. Too far back.

Yeah, everyone but K-man could see it coming. The Oilers look like they've found another gear. While Calgary looks as tired as we were a couple of weeks ago.

Frans Neilsen on Waivers . Henrique cleared waivers .

Would you trade now for Henrique? He did score 26 goals 43 points last year . If it was Loui and a fourth I would consider.

What do you do about next season? Canucks could make much better use of that cap space.

I actually was just looking at some proposals on another site and came across an interesting idea that worked out money wise also . Their acquisitions this offseason was RNH @ 3x7 and Adam Larsson @ 2x4.5 . Top three lines were

RNH Petey Brock
Hog Bo Podk
Motte Miller Gaudette.

Loui doesn't come off until the season after the next, so it's an extra two years of Henrique.

I would trade Loui, a pick/prospect, and Sutter (2.1 retained) for Henrique (2 mil retained) and another contract that ends this year to help even out the money.

Canucks get their third line center for the next few years at 4 mil. Anaheim gets out from the contract sooner (Sutter at the end of the year, Loui before Henrique), and actually spends less actual money.
