I seen a few things on Twitter about Zack making things even. I really don't get it. That will do nothing. Canucks were suppose to have one of the biggest NHL pests that has done nothing for two and a half years now. Roussel has been invisible.

When you are trying to retaliate you are already behind. Why they are not agitating the other team beforehand is mind boggling.

Zack is not an enforcer , not even close. He is a guy that can take care of his own business.

Jake Beagle Zack Roussel when ever they are on the ice can go run Ehlers when he touches the puck . The can attack a rookie Dman same as teams did to Hughes. You don't have to drop the gloves to be tough.

There are many ways to throw a team off their game.

Ya I'm not expecting much. Reminds me a bit of Gudbranson talkinjg the big tough talk when he fought that Leafs players can't even remember his name lol

I'm expecting at one point this club will toughen up but at the same time not holding my breath.

I get that Zack isn't the 'enforcer' but someone with a bit of that midset would help.

Rousell just doesn't give a sh!t anymore like JV.

100% correct. I know you were a big fan of the Burrows Kelser antics but after awhile it was ridiculous all the crap they were pulling. Just play tough hockey that's all anyone asks. If someone takes a run at your stars F'n handle it. Go bounce their stars around if you have to...just do something lol

Some of the disliked players finish up this year and the others with one year left after this year there is no need to keep them on the main roster. Like I pointed out earlier, you save cap space by sending in Podkolzin over Loui and if Lind is ready next year it is cheaper cap hit to bring him in and send Roussel to the farm.

NHLPA would never go for it, but ya, something like that or restructuring contracts would change the landscape.

Then again it would just give GMs another out from signing terrible contracts, so who knows?

Another Bettman Outdoor classic miracle!!

Just saw the update poor ice conditions due to the Sun... one has to wonder when bad conditions on the outdoor joke games will cost a player their career or a big time long term injury. At least indoors they can maintain great ice quality for the most part as per NHL standards.

Nowadays your toughness has to come from your better top six players, not fighting toughness, but pushback toughness. You can’t take liberties with guys like MacKinnon and Crosby, they’ll punch you right back and or drop the gloves in rare circumstances.

Boston doesn’t have a “tough guy”, but they have pack mentality, St. Louis doesn’t have a “tough guy”, but they have pack mentality, Colorado doesn’t have a “tough guy”, but they have pack mentality....the Canucks need more dogs and less cats.

I don't mind the outdoor games. The scenery was beautiful. I don't mind that they tried even if it was a fail. This is just a weird year lol. Roll with the punches.
