According to actual stats that matter, they are not doing fine.

Just curious what yawl think about a Jake for Sam trade. Same age, same cap hit but Jake has another year on his contract and Sam will be a RFA. On paper it looks like an even trade.

It is a stat that divides a stats by the multitude of play, then adds the outcome neutral zone outcomes, then considers the goal scoring expectations, that may or may not result in turnovers, that end up as a result, which equals a goal, but u don't have it analytically correct.😁

Kinda sounds like you don’t know what youre talking about. Myers has one of the worst penalty differentials in the league. Turns the puck over more than any Canuck. Regardless of “fancy stats” taking bad penalties and giving the puck up is pretty objectively bad. He’s got some positives.
