The lowly Sens did beat the Leafs last week btw

The Canadiens have got a good centre line, one with promise that hasn’t matured yet. Growing pains are part of the process and I think you’re harsh for making such a judgement on Suzuki and Kotkaniemi so soon. Let’s revisit this in a couple of years shall we? I do however believe that the Habs will need a veteran centre before the trade deadline if they are to have a chance in the playoffs, you can’t have success in the playoffs if you’re always chasing the puck after losing the draw time and time again.

As for Allen, by definition, a journeyman is a player who has played for several teams (see Galchenyuk, Alex). The Habs are Allen’s second team, he is far from being a journeyman. That being said, there’s a reason why Allen lost his starter spot in St-Louis, he’s best suited to a back-up role with a fair amount of starts. Price has been very underwhelming so far this season but played quality hockey in the bubble. I do think he’ll get back to performing well though and the sooner the better because he is an important part of this team.

4 points weekend for Caufield

Last year: 19 goals 17assists 36 points in 36 games

This year so far: 19 goals 18 assists 37 points in 24 games

That's a nice progression

yeah I think you're going a little strong there, they might not have a McDavid but there is talent on that roster..

Maybe you have been in the desert too long and your English is kind of strange...

Bah, maybe that is really what they think, thing is, do you know the other 30 teams’ roster as well as you know the Habs? I know I don’t so yeah, I could have misconception about some of them without trying to troll.

Saying that Habs don't have any valuable centre in his top 6 is a comment to generate passion!!!

I would agree the Habs are not a top tier team in term of Center Man (for now)... but it is not as bad as it looks like... I just think our Center line is very young... Not necessarly lacking of talent...

I see.

If you feel its a multi year timeline for the habs forwards where do you see the defense in that timeframe? In a few years theyll likely need something to replace petry and weber on the top lines.

We clearly need a shooter on the left side of the Power Play...

I think he will replace Tatar next year on the Roster...

Will see...

I tend to evaluate talent based on where theyd likely be on a contender, as thats the goal. So i think many perceive that to be harsh. I think most contending teams have 2 better centres.

they might want to prep him a bit before though by having him play for a while under Joel in Laval... not entirely impossible he makes the jump right away but it kinda feels like that would be rushing things

for sure he still has things to work on, but to say that he's pathetic and doesn't put any effort is really exaggerated imo
