Beaudin, Bovquist, Carlsson right now show they need to be and are sheltered

4th line is the gang that couldn’t t shoot straight

Zadorov, Strome, Nylander, Da Haan Roszival Pirri suck

Doesn’t look to me to be a team that is all that over performing except everyone’s expectations.

Good points. I think it is that they were very low floor, somewhat high ceiling coming in (especially considering injuries). Being more toward their ceiling so far sure feels like overachieving even if it really isn't.

Kane was a pick. Toews was a pick. Most players are picks.

McNeill was a pick. Rensfeldt was a pick. Most of them won't become NHL players. And you are not going to get top 3 pick from Strome.If Strome keeps playing the way he has lately he might not get you even second rounder.

I really hope he picks up because it would make team better. But I'm starting to think he is what we see. Slow and losing most of his battles. Can produce points but mostly in pp. I believe his first season as a Hawk success point wise was because of that. I sure hope I'm wrong here but time is running out.
