He would be a nice add, for what we would lose in finish...which isn't much...his physical play and D work would be much better than Willy. And almost, $2mln less. (who the fukc does M as mln?!? )

So the PTSD fears are real. A two game loss streak had me doing extra laundry. I saw yesterday’s game as a huge opportunity for the fold to start and the two breakaway goals as Jake Gardner time. The fact that they pulled it back and reasserted themselves gave me great confidence until the next crisis.

I love me some classic soul - been building a great Spotify soul playlist and I played Cooke's 'Nothing Can Change This Love' for my kids the other day. They were genuinely impressed when they heard how great a singer this guy with no auto tune or fancy studio tricks. They were like, yeah, that guy is really good. ✅

I'm definitely not writing him off. He's an asset to be managed properly like anyone else in terms of what he brings to the team, and his value. More than anything else, what's going to lead to moving Nylander is the fact they'll need to get Rielly, Andersen (or another tender), and Hyman under contract. They are not letting Hyman walk. This guy just continually proves himself valuable and indispensable in many different situations, over and over again. In many ways, Hyman is the exact opposite of Nylander, kind of like the anti-Nylander.

in terms of "value to the team" Hyman is much much farther near the top than Nylander...

and everything else being equal... moving Nylander and his contract may be a necessity if retain Rielly and Hyman is a priority (which it should be).

My greatest accomplishment as a father is that my kid’s favourite artist is Otis Redding. All the other guys in the crack house think he’s weird but I’m proud of him.
