Then we're not getting Forsberg. - Arctic_AARDVARK

idk if they want anything from the Leafs.
depends which type of rebuild they're looking at, but i would think it would be to strip it down to the bare bones and shoot for Wright. So maybe not even Nylander, but picks/prospects. |

My wife just committed to a Vegas weekend - Leafs game plus Raiders game.
FFS, get the vaccines rolling. - Atomic Wedgie
Haven't seen my family since November 2019. At this point, between the vaccine debacle and the travel restrictions I have no idea when I will see them again. My dad turns 80 at the end of September... I don't even know if I will be able to go.
It is no longer about Covid fatigue for me. It has become Covid anger.

Presumably if others start bidding for a guy like Forsberg, they’ll take the best offer and others will bid. |

Canada has bought enough vaccines to give all citizens 8-10 vaccine doses if I remember well.. how come the pfizer // moderna // j&j // azeneca vaccines still aren't rolled out properly? bad logistic setup or not all doses delivered yet? |

Juggernon - Canada Cup
possible the juggernon misses the playoffs? |

the right trade for nylander is not to get a (rh)d back for him - there is none available that would be a proper upgrade at the value he brings back (no seth jones / ekblad / provorov etc. can be had for nylander).
what leafs should do is bring back a different LW/RW to play on Tavares' wing -- with a different style than Nylander.
And trade Kerfoot for a different C (proper #3C that can PK, is better on draws, and just has a different playing style than Kerfoot).
Both Kerfoot as well as Nylander are good hockey players - this Leafs team needs different players though.
Kerfoot + Nylander for Faksa and Roope Hintz it is then -- would help the Leafs so much. |

I can’t see it. I think it’s a constitutional requirement. Also, they’re a lot better than the Canucks |

Leafs are #1 in Points, Points %, and Goal Differential.
Imagine when they add Forsberg - Steven_Seagull
That would be awesome, but doubtful. Not sure who they could use for matching, even at half retained.

Not delivered - Canada Cup
did Canada negotiate hard on prices (due to volume) and that's why they're not receiving the committted doses before some other countries?
obviously the big issue will be that the EU countries , Canada, US, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, Japan ,South Korea and a few other countries will get to coverage rates of 40-70% end of this year, but then rest of world (in particular LMIC) still at <10% vaccine coverage.. which eventually become a big problem for any int'l travel, 'back to normal' and in particular the development of new trains against which the current vaccines might be less effective..
countries should step away from the 2-3 dose regimens, and prioritize making all vaccines available worldwide in order to have the optimal output |

I think it’s called the Other One and it is great. The Long Strange Trip is a 6 or 8 part series. |

To date, it is a delivery problem.
I think it will become both a delivery and logistic problem.

That would be such an awful trade. I didnt realize JFJ was on this board
Seriously though that is not what the Leafs need. I agree with replacing Kerfoot as 3rd line C, and an upgrade on left wing, just not that trade.
Miles Wood would be a good start |

it's a 4mln caphit (AAV) saving for a better #3C and a guy that is a 2nd/1st line winger like Nylander - different style. personally I take Hintz over Nylander any day (Hintz is just a much more complete player) - but even if you have a slight preference for Willie, that 3.5mln AAV caphit difference is very valueable. |

Last year Nylander had 31 goals / 59 points in 68 GP, while Hintz had 19 goals / 33 points in 60GP. Hintz is not as good as Nylander, regardless of how much you and some others hate Nylander.
It would be a bad trade that the Leafs would end up regretting.
