What about Forsberg, 50% retained for Kerfoot, 1st, Abramov. Would Nashville consider it?

I tend to agree, but I wonder if they could pry him away for picks, and medium end prospects. No way the Leafs trade Robertson, we need some lower cap hit players coming up. He's one of the only untouchable in this type of trade IMO.

I guess the Habs are back to sucking.

It was a good ride.

He's a good player, but I think youll really see the player he is once Bergeron and/or Marchand's play starts to diminish IMO. He is not as good as that level, but you have to give it to him, he's taken advantage of his role.

Not true, I heard a few days ago they were the best team in the NHL.

Seriously, I think the Habs have messed up the rebuild a little bit, but have a good future. They should have sucked more for a year or so extra. Its hard to do that however with Price in net.

I wouldn't. Kerfoot has value, but is far less value than Forsberg. Kerfoot can be a line 2/3 guy, which is good - but he's not a top line player, and those are hard to come by. A lower 1st pick (20 - 31), and a guy who's probably our 5th best prospect, albeit one with a good shot of making the NHL . . . I would think a proposal like that probably wouldn't inspire movement even without the retention - although they could probably flip Kerfoot for a 2nd. I think if you want him with retention the price goes enough to really entice them, but it's an area we shouldn't enter - Sandin or Robertson.

They are most likely not as good as what they've showed early in the season.

But they are not as bad as they are right now.

And it might sound cliche, but when things go wrong sometimes, it feels like even luck isn't on your side.

Ottawa scored 2 weird bouncing goals yesterday, Habs hit like 4-5 posts....

Hopefully they'll turn things around.

The January cup was already awarded, no need to continue to dominate

In light of the fact that February is usually the month where the truck with the number of wheels equal to the number of days in February goes off a cliff for the Leafs, this is good progress.
