I think they could/should move on from Liljegren at this point. Or Dermott.

Liljegren is 21, playing top pair minutes every night with the Marlies, and is averaging a point per game this season.

On the last point, granted it's a small sample size, but he had 30 pts in 40 games last season in the AHL.

I think you hold on to him unless you can make a trade where he's a piece for a significant roster player.

Barrie has been very good in a country music kind of way

JT has not looked good the last 7-8 games.

Nylander is still carrying the puck fluently but JT is bobbling pucks every play. Something is up with him.

I am a playoff lock pretty much so I might make the trade for Tarasenko for the sloughs upgrade even though he’s out for a few weeks still.

Mikhyev doesn’t play well next to top line players...much like Kappy he has very poor shot selection and low hockey IQ to go along with elite skating.

He’s better off on the 3rd line not taking away skilled plays from skilled players.

Unfortunately Dermott may not be playing for a while - not sure. He took a really dirty elbow to the face last night from Armia - no penalty - no puck within 30 feet of the play. Leafs should send tape to league and Armia should get at least 5 games. Dirty play
