You can argue they don't have much depth on defense, but they can put Kulak back in and call back Fleury
I won't be surprised if Bergevin try to get some depth on defense around the trade deadline, if not sooner. - deadpoulet
In my brief research I found both Edmundson and Kulak have higher career seasons for points than Mete. At this point I'd consider Fleury even if it means losing a guy on waivers or forcing a trade just to get some new blood in there. The last 3 weeks has been a team playing slower and softer, need to drag some of these guys into the battle now before the skid gets longer

I’d be down with bringing Fleury on, that would allow Romanov to play on his good side as well.

Saying that Mete cannot defend is a myopic perspective. He’s 22 a 4th round pick thrown into the deep end of the pool and yet his numbers are equal to or better than half the D Corp they have. How does that translate as unacceptable? He is young ng he will make mistakes but burying this kid and playing Kulak instead is the wrong thing to do.... did Weber look good last night? Chariot? Even Petry had a bad night.
Mete has upside...how much too early to tell... I’m done. - Hockey Pucker
Depends how you feel about Mete I guess. There was a whole page essentially of one Mete comment over and over. So even if you're skimming it you have enough opportunity to read it all
