I had a couple friends tell me 2020 was the year their kid was going to start soccer/tball or baseball and hockey. My one friend specifically said he and his wife are worried they'll never get their kid to try sports because of the lockdown. It's brutal for kids in that developmental period from school to social to sports and who knows what else beyond

Kids are impressionable. Last year, kid was all gung ho to start soccer, this year he literally has no interest and several of his friends dropped out and that's even if they play. I figured it could have some impact but before talking to my friend I really didn't think it could be as bad as he was saying. Granted that's all anecdotal so it could be a lot less than he was suggesting
