Yeah, I would go with Bouchard instead, but I'm not sure he's the guy either.

I'd go with Franky Bouillon, just because why not lol

I’d be interested to know if Montreal Canadiens fans are putting the blame for last night’s bad loss on the “Toronto War Room”, Toronto Media bias or the NHL’s bias towards the Toronto Maples Leafs

This sounds like a joke, but this was the narrative on Twitter following the Leafs victory this past Saturday night. It the fact that the Leafs outplayed the Habs. Also read Jack Todd’s article from the Gazette. Yes, shooting the puck over the glass is a penalty when down 5 on 4.
This is what passes for journalism in Montreal these days

Drouin is not defensively strong enough to play with Danault against the other teams scoring line unfortunately...
- Karine Hains

I don't think that's actually an issue... and unfortunately for him, he doesn't create enough offense to be on the 1st line, or the 2nd...

I don't see him in a front role like that.

The easy move if they make a change mid season would be to go with Muller (interim) untill they find the right guy, most likely in the off season.

I can’t speak for all fans and media but here is what I wrote about that:

In the end though, Matthews, Marner and Andersen were just too good tonight and when the final buzzer rang, the Leafs pocketed 2 more points to find themselves with a 10-point lead on the Habs. Don’t tell me the disallowed goal was a game changer, the Leafs were just the better team tonight and that’s that. The Canadiens might have 3 games in hand but you still need to win those games for that to matter… The Habs won’t wallow in their pain for too long since they’ll be back at it tomorrow night against Ottawa and you can expect Jake Allen to be in the net.

Yeah...as much as I liked Muller the player...hasn't he been in charge of special teams forever now? They change the players, and they are still abysmal. Time for a shake up on that front.

As for Bouillon...he has little to no coaching experience that I know of.

Maybe they could call back Fleury? How does he look in Laval?

I think it's over with Mete at this point.

C'est pas tant drole, c'est un article de marde. Des journalistes devraient être mieux que ça.

Didn't think he looked that bad. Habs could use his quickness. Flaws will always be physicality and lack of a good shot.

Ben Chiarot in the other hand. Ohh boy. The guy stinks. Can't make a play offensively, can't hit the net when he shoots the puck, and can't make the outlet pass to forwards, aside from that stupid dump in the air in the neutral zone that always kills the attack.

Add to that the stupid repetitive penalties.

He was the player's development coach for the Habs a few times, but that's about it

maybe, if they're going with someone internally he's probably the best candidate... I'd prefer him over Bouillon or Muller anyways

More the SS Julien. Pressure is on him right now.

They have a good team. Having a 20, and a 21 year old as 2 of the 3 centres of your top 9 is not ideal, but it will get worse when you have a coach who is zero interested in player development.

Bouillon does players development for the forwards in the system, he is not a coach.
