I watched Mete last night. Don't need analytics to tell me the kid can't defend - Takemedrunkimhome
bud, you have zero facts or stats to base your argument on. Mete is above average and so much better analytically than 50% of the D on the team....your opinion is just that...opinion...baseless....both his O zone (especially) and D zone stats suggest he is better than average...what he is is small and can get pushed around...but he is more effective than Chariot or Kulak and Edmonson...and that's why he isn't being traded. |

Can you explain to me again why whe should'nt have picked Tkatchuk instead of KK? - Fredobbface
Because one is a 50 points powerforward who will never be much more than that.
The other is a guy progressing fast into becoming the finnish Getzlaf.
Write it down ffs.

Just a tought, Toffoli was doing good at the begining of the year with KK, why not go back to that ?
Also the PP was doing good when petry was with Webber.. - Xizord
Tatar is horrible, and stayed horrible playing with KK. I'd reunite him with Gallagher and Danault and let them figure it out. |

For the 2nd game in a row, Mete was directly responsible for goals against his team.
That's bad enough for me.

You keep saying this like he is another Tatar.
Tkachuk is way more than just a 50 pts player and you know it. |

again, what analytics or stats are you looking at that would determine that Mete is not good enough to play...as a 6th D man he is more than adequate to hold down the job until someone better, faster, stronger shows up... |

you keep referring to these "analytics" but you aren't proving your point either... I'm not saying he's complete garbage, but he needs to be better than this, just like Weber and Chiarot and a lot of other guys do

His first two seasons, given every prime opportunities possible (on a very bad team I agree), he's produced 44-45 points.
Could he do 55-60 in a good year? Yes. Does he bring something interesting in his game with his physical play, yes. Is he a good player? Definetely.
All I'm saying is that in due time, considering how both players have improved, I really think Kotkaniemi will be the best player between the two.
His ceiling certainly is higher. |

God damn, who did voodoo on the Rangers?
Now it's Panarin who is out.
https://www.cbssports.com...-taking-leave-of-absence/ - Not_Yan
Panarin is taking a leave of absence from NYR in aftermath of political hit piece against him from Russia alleging that he beat up an 18-year-old girl in Russia in 2011.

Watch the highlight of Ottawa's 1st goal. Please explain to me with your "stats" how Mete wasn't completely responsible for that goal. Stats are great but if they don't match the eye test they're not giving an accurate depiction of the true story. It's why we watch the games and they play them rather than just doing a simulation based on paper teams. Mete can't defend at an NHL level |
