See, I don't get this rationale. I get that you said IF true. But, even if the root of the story is true, why is it good riddance without any idea what the situation was? From many, many reports Panarin is a fantastic individual. He displays a real grounded and respectful disposition from everything the public sees. He was raised by his grandparents and continues to provide for them...
Maybe (if it's true) this woman was assaulting HIM and he had enough, lost his cool and hit her once, and that is what got reported. I've seen that happen before.
The point is we know nothing and should not make condemnations either way.

I’m not condemning anyone. Hell, I own a Panarin jersey. However, Panarin’s current character really doesn’t have anything to do with what may or may not have occurred. If you read Nazarov’s interview, he basically lays out what supposedly happened.

All this said - I have a really hard time buying this story. It’s a Russian tabloid, and Nazarov is not only a nutcase, he’s a pro-Putin nutcase - and has a past with Panarin. There’s very likely an agenda there. So, do you really buy what he’s selling? Without some real corroboration, I don’t know how you can. But IF it is true - a massive if, about as big of an if as you can imagine - in an ideal world, there would be some consequences. Bottom line, no, I’m not rushing to judgment, and I don’t know how anyone with any common sense really can either, given the particulars.
