No. Just curious as to why. Laziness or just lack of technology? |

Please do not mistake me for a Maple Leafs fan. They have too many already.
Rather than defending the Toronto team, I was instead pointing out they currently do not resemble a first place team. As a comparison, consider the Flames if the roster were similarly adjusted.
Tkuchuk-Lindholm-Monahan
Lucic-Backlund-Dube
Nordstrom-Gawdin-Ritchie
Philp-Froese-Robinson
Hanafin-Andersson
Valimaki-Tanev
Yelesin-Poolman
An unwanted but available UFA goalie
Parsons
It is difficult to assess how well the Flames played when the depleted Toronto roster is considered.
----
Also, I would not over-assess Rittich's game. Everyone knows the Toronto team tends to avoid scoring on weak goalies ... just ask their former Zamboni driver - Jackie Daytona
You forgot to list the refs in that lineup...
Look, I'm definitely NOT saying the Flames are a contender or played the Leafs at their optimal roster... but they had 7 freaking power plays including 1:30 on a 5 on 3. Hutchison was not the problem for them in that game. Rittich slammed the door on their offense, pure and simple. Look at the high danger chances - Toronto had 14 HDC and just couldn't put one past BSD |

You could be right. In other news, the Canucks are responsible for getting Julian fired.

I'll go with ya. What would you like to fight about? Lockdowns? Vaccine safety? Your trashy hockey club? |

I couldn't have been more wrong. But yeah, we owed Julien one for 2011. That'll learn him. |

How does the ref not blow the whistle? No way he could see the puck through that scrum. |

Many guys falling in around the net. Probably didn’t want to risk being short handed to either end the game or head into overtime if the refs determined that a flames player pushed a leafs player into BSD. As much as it pains me to say it, it was the right call by ward |
