Look, I'm definitely NOT saying the Flames are a contender or played the Leafs at their optimal roster... but they had 7 freaking power plays including 1:30 on a 5 on 3. Hutchison was not the problem for them in that game. Rittich slammed the door on their offense, pure and simple. Look at the high danger chances - Toronto had 14 HDC and just couldn't put one past BSD

Many guys falling in around the net. Probably didn’t want to risk being short handed to either end the game or head into overtime if the refs determined that a flames player pushed a leafs player into BSD. As much as it pains me to say it, it was the right call by ward
