I think there’s a few small companies adding various metals to their composite blends but I’m fairly certain anything improving the rigidity is negatively affecting the flex/kick point.
- Feds91Stammer

Yes, I understand that. I guess my question/point is do the players prefer that flexibility to overall performance. Sometimes you have to accept the good with the bad.

I can’t believe they don’t make composite wood blend sticks yet. I used composite sticks for like 2 years and realized I hated them. But light weight composite wood blend would keep the weight down and keep the strength up.

I actually use to have one, can't remember the brand but the stick was called Alpine I believe. One of my favorite sticks.

Edit: I think it was TPS

What does it do to the flexibility? I know in golf too much flex in the shaft causes the ball to hook/slice quite a bit, depending on your swing. Do players want that movement in their shots?
- Thunderbolt

They already made it before, I liked it. I believe it was a rare stick and some douche two handed it in half. So mad couldn't find it again.

I hope we don't either. If Zadorov is a real target, then I start to wonder if we're going to see a whole bunch of changes on the defense.

I currently use Sherwood 9950 pmpx iron carbon. It has just as much flex if not more than my warrior back up. Yes my composite stick is my backup. Haha

If the stronger sticks were any good players would use them so to answer your question they probably suck.

Last time I got a wood stick I broke it in like 2 skates. My current primary is a warrior Johnny gaudreau pro stock.

Does anyone think Wilson will get suspended for that hit? I mean, f that dude, I hope he does, but seems a bit excessive. I’m seeing people saying it should’ve easily been a major and he’ll get suspended based on his reputation. Jnco did leave the game at the time, so could maybe understand a 5min, but obviously dude came back later
I’m sure Burke had a hunk of granite in the crotch area of his long pants while watching that piece of trash run around. Wouldn’t be shocked if they’re all ready looking for someone truculent.

So the Kings are looking for a young LHD and are apparently willing to part with one of their top young forward prospects. POJ of the Pens was mentioned in the rumor.

And they have some great prospects...
Villardi
Byfield
Turcotte
Kupari
Kaliyev

I love POJ but given the Pens depth at LD I think you'd have to consider what you could work out with them.

Turcotte or Kupari and Kaliyev for POJ and Legare? Basically the Pens give up an A+ and a B prospect for two A prospects.

If Petterson was young enough for them I'd flip him for Kupari in a heartbeat.

If you dont want Zadorov keep hoping the hawks keep winning for a while is all Ill say. (Apparently isnt getting dealt if hawks are close to a playoff spot) I personally think Zadorov stinks but I can see a use for him in a 7 game playoff series. Ya look at analytics all you want but whoever plays against him for 4-7 straight games especially net front players are gonna be hurting. Its not fun playing against guys like that to say the least. I said it about Reaves and from what my buddy thinks again is the players are wanting someone like that on the team. I think we all know it for sure wasnt Sullivan wanting him and by chance if it was Rutherford Id guess he would have stayed around much longer. Just a calculated guess but Id bet it isnt the fringe players asking for that. Good thing with guys like Hextall especially and Burke as well is they will do what they want and think is right not what the players or ownership ask for.

Still 100% think pens should be after Marcus Foligno and Glendening though. (no rumours on either of these 2 just who Id be after) at 6'3" 235lbs if the players want "protection" Foligno is big enough and more then willing to scrap anybody in the league and can still play on top lines.

Forsberg would be great obviously but Id have no intentions of completely mortgaging all the future thats left to get him.

If zadorov came half price sure. I would go after guddy half retained by Ottawa but I doubt he would resign here. I think he would go right back to Ottawa till he retires. I think both would be fine in a 3rd pair role but not for the money. A more competent guy like Dillon would be nice who can actually drive play but that’s harder to acquire.

My first expensive stick as a kid was a Stevie Y red aluminum Easton. Problem was all it took was a corner to get dented and the stick would just fold in half.
