Heck I remember when the Leafs signed Tavares and thinking they were in the cat bird's seat. They could now trade Willy for some more assets. Obviously I was wrong about that.

Edit: Not that I mean Matthews, Tavares and Marner are one dimensional. It didn't make sense to me when Dubas signed Tavares that he kept Nylander because the Leafs had more than enough offense already.

Ive never had an issue with you, but i dont appreciate when people lie about what i say. Sure, im on record saying id trade Nylander, and i still would. He hasnt been traded yet because Dubas is very loyal to his core players. But for the past year i think he's starting to understand more about what it takes to succeed. After the playoffs last year he went to bat for Marner in the media, chastising the media who criticized Marner, but nothing about Willy. I think Dubas and Keefe are on the same page now, and we know Keefe isnt impressed with Willy. He can win the game for them and i doubt it changes anything with Dubas. Willy still needs to prove more, hes gotta keep his offence going, and grow his defensive game just like Keefe said.
