Anyone else have a bad feeling about the upcoming 8 games? Edmonton has been playing much better, Vancouver is not the pushovers they were a few weeks ago and Winnipeg might be the second strongest team.

The Leafiest thing would be to allow everyone to catch up. It feels like this is what will happen.

If they come out of it .500 I think they will have done very well.

It is a combination of some key injuries, especially the goaltending, and Matthews' wrist is a concern, Tavares has not been playing well, and the team had a good long run.

Stuff tends to even out over the course of a season, and I feel like the Leafs are coming up due for that evening out. They very nearly ran completely out of luck against Calgary, which is not a good team.
