Checkout Beartown, new HBO series about a washed up Swedish NHLer who goes home to northern Sweden to coach minor hockey. I believe murder ensues but I’m not sure.

I respect O-Dog and Ferraro. They were both good players who had good NHL careers. But it's somewhat hilarious that both of these guys are talking about what a player needs to be able to do to win in the playoffs when neither of them ever won a Cup.

They're not entirely wrong. Willy certainly does have some weaknesses in his game. But both O-Dog and Ferraro were known as 1 way offensive players who'd have to introduce themselves to their own team's goalies at the end of the season. Sound familiar?

And now they're both experts on being solid 2 way players? Please. It's a bit rich coming from these 2 guys. It's like they're taking every negative thing ever said about them and projecting it on Willy Nylander.

I don't know what makes Hayes an expert. He's always bragging about his failed Junior B career so apparently his opinion carries the same weight as O-Dog and Ferraro's. Noodles was a backup goalie who was lit up more often than Jimmy Howard was so there's that.

Idk why you guys wont get it through your heads that its not about pt production with Willy, it's about trying to play more of a 200ft game. The days of Kovalev where you can be purely offence are over. Keefe is not happy with Willy's play, eventually Dubas will see the light and do whats necessary to make this team a contender.

He was 3 feet from a wide open man in front of the net for 3 seconds.
