There's no way Ducharme can afford to keep sending Price when Allen is just better right now.

I remember when Halak took the lead over Rask a few years ago. Rask ended up getting his net back, but Boston went with the guy giving them the best chance to win.

Do the same DD!

his career as an NHL coach may very well depend on this

They give up the D zone because they are playing on their heels, they have no confidence and unlike in the previous years, it gets worst when Price is in net, he doesnt inspire confidence. More often than not he ends up on his knees too fast and without his stick down to protect the 5-hole then hunched over with his head down utterly defeated. He reminds me of MAF when he was choking, time to give Price some time to work it out. Allen in net Saturday and for the rest of the week, there are no back to back games, time for Price to be a big boy and work it the hell out

Ducharme is coaching for a contract. if he's allowed to be independent in his goalie choice he's going to play the goalie who plays best or sucks less.

if it was one bad game yes go back to Price. but Price's play started off mediocre and has gone south from there. there is 0% chance Price plays tomorrow.

if Ducharme wants to apply the "team concept" he was talking about the same day he was hired, he's definitely going with Allen

He is right, to keep the 60-40 timeshare Waite planned, it’s Allen’s turn so he’ll def be in even if they dont decide to give him the net for the forseeable future. Last night was his chance to work it out while playing and he screwed it up.

I understand but it's a different head coach now, but again, I certainly believe Allen should get the start

I know but I really think that Stephane Waite will be as involved as in was in goalie decisions. But we’ll see in less than 34 hours

if they play the same way, who's in net doesn't really matter tbh

Really? They didn't play a perfect game by any means but some of those we're very stopable shots, a save or two would have definitely made all the difference in the world... Price let in 4 of the last 16 shots he faces or something
