Well he sat down with the owner who told him no and he likely said something like if you don't let me do this I'm gone and the answer was thank you for your services and they agreed they would say he left for personnal reasons.

Rutherford resigned, wasn't fired - although that could just be semantics

If they don't right the ship over the next month, do you sell Danault & Tatar at the deadline?

Yeah I mean there's plenty of gentleman agreement that we'll say you resigned for personnal reasons instead of firing you so you can find another job more easily out there.

My thoughts as well. Frankly as somebody who hires people I've learned I don't give the slightest of (frank)s either way, fired, laid off or resigned.

Depends on the contract negociations. Tatar is a career playoff underperformer and now that we have more depth at forward we don't need a unidimensional player like him as much. Danault still has uses but at the right price, a 3rd line center salary.

We need Danault more than Tatar, as much as some of you may agree or not, the team is atrocious in many areas, face offs being one of them, but no more than 5MM per season

I mean, Suzuki will get there eventually, I'm more worried about KK an fill a number 2 spot. Last night his line could'nt even get out of their zone

Needs to be more than that he is making less than $4MM right now? More like Price or Weber but no one will take their contracts
