Just how is it do you expect this league to survive without revenue from somewhere?

We are lucky there is even a league right now..

This kid is looking like a late round gem!
Kudos to Chuck
This is the exact type of player that the flyers are missing (beside the top 2D man, of course)

I'm going first wait and see if Myers is scratched. I agree with letting him play through it but I also don't have a major issue if he is scratched. Vigneault has already scratched Konecny. Myers struggles in certain areas is not really surprising. They're asking an awful lot of him.
-MJL

We were talking about this earlier, Myers rotation in the slot has been atrocious this entire season, as it has been with other D as well. It may be good for Myers to observe a game or two to realize his mistakes and correct them. In the end, Myers has to be a big part of this D or the Flyers are in real trouble.

Yeah I can see that with Meyers. Maybe some ill advised pinching. Has been getting beat lately. Hasn't lead to any goals against with that long stick reach but I could see the reasoning behind it. Maybe a break is in order. I agree with MJL, they have been asking a lot of him lately.
- Thrashahoy

I don't know if they have been asking a lot of him, unless you think playing in the top 4 is asking a lot. There was a sequence last game that really put in a nutshell Myers problem, and its really his slot coverage. Off a D-zone faceoff Myers for some reason floated out towards the far point instead of moving over and covering the far slot. Once the shot from the point got through, Krieder was left alone for an easy tap in. These are just bad mistakes and unfortunately Myers has been making these types of mistakes in coverage all year. Observing a few games hopefully will help him correct this.

Boston just getting hammered again, maybe they should blow it up, trade everyone
- wcorvette

Just seeing that now. Wow. They can’t beat anyone else other than the flyers haha

In my opinion, if Mattias Ekholm is a real option to pick up, the Flyers should be in serious talks for him. I think he’s automatically an upgrade in our top 4, which is very much a need. A top four of Provorov, Sanheim, Myers and Ekholm should excite the fans. I don’t know what goes the other way but Ghost has played well and I think would be fine next to any one of Braun or Hagg. Gus really is my guy who I’m not interested in seeing play outside of the power play.
- SuperSchennBros

I of course agree with you, Ekholm would really solidify our top 4. The Flyers got some cap space relief by loosing Friedman on waivers but they will need more to get Ekholm.

I was thinking of great trade the other day, Ekholm and Granlund for a 1st and 3rd round pick, plus Frost and Gust. Gust goes over just to help in cap space and it does not hurt Nashville because he is a UFA next season. Granlund could be a huge help to our forward group and is also a UFA next season. The Flyers would still need to clear more cap space however.

The game was lost near the end of the 2nd period and start of the 3rd. The Rangers were really skating last night, and as was the case in the previous game versus the Islanders, the Bruins were getting beat to every lose puck. The Bruins actually quit after they went down 5-1, which is something you rarely see. I wonder if the Flyers gave them Covid

Have you all seen this kid Kirill Kaprizov on the Wild. Talk about an elite player. He was a 5th round pick in 2015, and guess who drafted him?

It’s certainly odd. They clearly can be beaten, but must be in the flyers heads. We have to put forth good efforts when we play them in the final 3 matchups.

I like Ekholm but you want to give up a 1st and Frost for a guy who will be UFA in Granlund and Ekholm who has 1 year left. Over payment IMO. I dont know what it would take to get them but that just seems like too much

The Flyers cap is a fluid situation that is changing frequently. As of today, the Flyers would have plenty of cap space to acquire Ekholm at the deadline.

You really should stay out of the trade proposal business. This is just as bad as your original absurd proposal for Ekholm.

So Kaprizov with 5 goals and 11 assists and 16 points in 17 games is an elite player. Farabee with 8 goals, 7 assists and 15 points in 16 games, you need to see more. You're still on the fence. Hysterical.

Patrick battled a migraine issue and missed an entire season and has resumed his career. He doesn't have any drive and determination?

5th of the season. Looking good. Hopefully he can keep it up.

There you go again, knowing nothing about the nhl except thinking you know everything about the Flyers. My god you crack me up. My view is being a Flyers fan and loving Farabee and how well he is playing make me very happy but in real life I would trade him and first to get Kaprizov. You obviously have not see him play and he is already Panarin like and comparisons to Kane will be common real soon. He is freaking elite. Fiala used to be the best player and he looks nothing like Kaprizov who dangles and has elite hockey sense. So there.

Once again your defending a player for having a migraine for a year, which is ridiculous. So he had a headache for a year so you cut him slack and let him slack it through 2021. He has been totally unproductive the last month and if not for covid he probably would not be in the top six. He really has to pick it up if the team wants to win more hockey games.

Agree with this. I made a similar post the last time he scored. It’s the on ice drive, tenacity, and confidence that makes Wisdom such an unusual 18 yr old player. It’s still early but he looks like a real find in the 4th round.

He has played 16 games in the NHL. I think that you would trade Farabee and a 1st for Kaprizov doesn't make me have concerns about your criticism and gives no validity to your statement that I know nothing about the NHL.

Why didn't you show up the next day after ripping Laughton as a player and he had a hat trick in the next game? Where were you Joe?

Your post here shows a lack of intelligence. I'll leave it at that.
