Quick question for anyone in the know.
I heard that when the players are in their home town, they go home.

Their homes are supposed to be part of the home bubble.
PS: Technically, questions are statements/sentences—specifically of the interrogative kind. But yes, the above is in the form of a declarative—not an interrogative—statement/sentence. |

I think in Mtl they only go from home to the arena or pratice center. Anyway everything else is closed.

Before the season began I wagered the Habs would finish 4th in the north division, ahead of VAN, WPG and OTT. While things are now looking bleak, despite the Habs recent play, I still believe 4th is likely and 3rd is possible. Outstanding issues in both WPG and CGY make this plausible.
I believe WPG will continue to encounter issues due to their striking lack of NHL calibre defenders. Hellebuyck is an outstanding goalie, but he cannot continue to routinely face so many shots. Additionally, I just reviewed the Jets schedule and realized WPG still has all 9 of their matches against TOR outstanding. It is likely these 9 matches will undermine the Jets momentum, possibly enough to drop below the Habs.
CGY has significant concerns surrounding its leadership group, with multiple players informing agents they are welcoming trades. After two players-only meetings it seems the issues cannot be resolved. With the dressing room in chaos it is unlikely the Flames will achieve what was expected. I mistakenly gambled they would finish 2nd in the north but can now easily see them finishing as low as 5th.
Thus, if the Habs stick with the better goaltender, can improve team cohesion, and can find a way to resolve mobility and scoring difficulties, they may either be able to stay ahead of the disgruntled Flames or perhaps catch the Jets. Better yet, if all goes well, perhaps they can finish ahead of both squads and face the lesser of the two juggernauts in the first round. - Jackie Daytona
Habs are better than last 5 games they played but not as good as first 10 games...
They will finish 3rd, 4th or 5th... This will depend how long we will be patien with Carey Price... What I am affraid is to have Ducharmes forced to play him when he should not...
Allen deserves to be number 1 until Price finds his way back...
If Habs don't manage to do the playoffs, Bergevin is out...

i think that depends. if this last 10-game stretch is who this team really is and they spend the next 36 games in the gutter, 100%. but if they pull out of this and muddle along a bit over .500 and end up missing the playoffs by 2-3 points or something, i'm not sure he doesn't survive that. |

KK is not where he needs to be at for them to make the playoffs and Danault is not giving them the offense he gave them the past seasons. The center line is pretty must just Suzuki

didn't watch the game Sat but looking at the stat line... 41 shots, 1 goal, 2-1 loss, 7th loss in 8 games... i mean it's just identical to last season.

the more i watch KK, the more i see Radek Bonk. a dependable third-line center who will average 35-40 points in his career. |
