Rittich is an unforced error machine. How did we have so much difficulty?
- Monkeypunk

We hit him a lot....had shots but didn’t put them in scoring spots.

IMO

He’ll be like Lucic soon, or he might be already? I haven’t watched any Vegas this year.

Is Canadian Mist single malt?

I find it really good in a big glass with plenty of ice, two cherries, a splash of coke and while I'm wearing my Ottawa Senators jersey.

- Atomic Wedgie

The key is exactly 2 Cherries and the jersey. That’s what makes that whole thing classy & simply unbeatable.

Close 2nd would be big glass of Banff Vodka, crushed (vs cubed) ice, splash of red Powerade and a garlic stuffed olive.

Mmmmmm 😎

Who was talking about single malts in the prior thread? peter21 ?

Curious what your fav one is?

I’ve got a couple, I like the peaty / really smokey ones.

Both the Lagavulin 16 & The Old Pulteney 18 are arguably my favorite 2 - sadly I’m not nearly flush enough with cash to make either a “go to” - those bottles are for once in a while.

- Cush29

Sadly, a good old Glenfiddich 12 year for me.
I know, shameful.

No to kassian.
3.2 for him is too much

- Fakepartofme

agreed.

I think he would be a good rental. He seems to be an effective player, for a while, but has a short attention span. He's not someone I would spend any money or term on.

I just finished off some Aberfeldy and im in the middle off some Glenmorangie. Both are great for under $80
- Fakepartofme

I’ve had (and liked) Aberfeldy - haven’t tried Glenmorangie - yet.

The Bowmore 12 Year for $30 at LCBO is a steal.

All I can think of is Marchment wanted a trade?

Otherwise, the move never made much sense.

Is it wrong I'm curious about DeAngelo if the Rangers eat half the salary?
- Atomic Wedgie

That's kind of personal Wedgie; not that there is anything wrong with that.

They’re like my case of Key Lime Pie I order once and awhile $100/case tall boys

I might have to try those 2, get them in Ontario? How much are they?

- Garnie

Yep Ontario. The Lagavulin 16 is about $150 hence it’s a “special occasion” bottle. The 8 year tastes nothing like the 16. The other one my wife got me for my birthday at LCBO but I do t see it on the site. They “scotch guy” told her it wasn’t something they generally stock more than a bottle of because it doesn’t move. It was $200 or something - I’m guessing that’s why, she wasn’t at an LCBO in Yorkville or anything so where problem buy $200 bottles of Scotch and don’t blink.

I just buy it because it is "decent". I don't know a lot about Scotches.

For my friends 50th, I bought him the Lagavulin 16, but it was way too peaty for me. I think Scotch is a real acquired taste. I only sip it straight once in a while if a guest wants a shot.

Totally get it. I disliked it until I found the type of scotch I liked. If it’s not peaty and smokey I’m not super interested.

Side note - if that’s your go to birthday gift we need to be friends. 😁😎
