Lasagna freezes ok. Anyway, the sin wasn't throwing out lasagna. The sin was admitting it here
- Canada Cup

No, by admitting it here he was submitting himself to endless opprobrium, and that shows remorse.

Found a pizza dough in the freezer and spinach, some ham, cherry tomatoes and artichokes. I’m set but I’ll keep looking for ya. Never made a key lime pie

Not good to have your starter only provide 50% quality starts.

Stop already, he’s been fine....the stats don’t tell the whole story. Unless you’ve already written it ahead of time...then carry on.

They're not so bad if you just drink half, put the rest in the fridge and then forget about it.

Not sure who would do such a thing, but there you go.

It's actually kind of delicious in a weird way

I thought it was awful when I took the first sip, and loved it by the end of the can

He's had 3 poor starts out of the 16; the first 2 of the season, and the stinker against the Sens. In each case you could argue that the defense didn't do him any favours either. I like they way the team is playing now; they still give up a number of chances (we'd be kidding ourselves if we didn't give a significant portion of last night's success to Hutchinson), but they aren't giving the same room and time.

My argument for Fred has always been that he set the baseline with his play in years 1-3 and that's the standard we will hold him to. When he fails to reach that baseline, we'll criticize - but overall he has normally been good this year.

It takes a drunk to know a good beer

The Nitro part of it is what really makes it, gives it a bit of a whipped cream quality with that hint of sweet, which quickly transitions to bitter on the after. Really quite an interesting beer.

The Key Lime pie store?

There is no way that place exists. It would be shut down in a second.

Lemon meringue store now that something that would be busy.

If there was a store where people could buy good taste, they'd probably b-line it to the key lime pie store right after picking some up and skip the lemon meringue store altogether.

Freddy has had some good starts and also a couple of stinkers. Here is a list of things which I believe are evident.
1) He does not handle the puck well, sometimes panic, sometimes give aways to the opponent but this is not his forte.
2) Poor rebound control, this leads to opportunities that are easily pinned on the leaky defense but if you stop it, freeze it - opportunity for opponent is eliminated.
3) Lets in a softie regularly. The five hole is an issue for him and if that softie comes at an inopportune time, deflates the team. (first goal, go-ahead goal, tying goal)

Is he above average? I think he is. He has been outstanding some games this year. So were Campbell and Hutchinson in the last two. Wonder how many times in his career since Pee Wee, McDavid has failed to register a point against an opponent in back to back games?

I take it you never tasted my grandmas lemon meringue.

She mixes it with her bare hands, kind of like the old lady in wedding singer that pays Adam sandler in meatballs.

It’s a running joke in my family.

Would it be weird if I did?

In all fairness, a good lemon meringue pie is a great piece of pie, if it's well made and fresh. But nothing is worse than the flavour and texture of mass produced meringue in my book... I avoid it like the plague unless I know what I'm getting.

In the end though, I'm a huge Key Lime Pie fan, it's top 3 desserts for me.... (maybe top 5 actually)

Fruit pies > meringue pies. I make a salted tahini chocolate chip cookie that is illegal in 5 US states. Best cookie ever. Recipe from from the fake news NY Times.

I don't mind fruit pies but they just don't do it for me as much as a key lime pie.

I'm definitely biased but one of the greatest things of all time is mustikkapiirakka.

It's like a mix between a pie, a cheesecake, and a tart, using Bilberries (which for all intents and purposes are just small Finnish blueberries)

In the NHL he's had a few 3 game pointless sprees, and about 6 or 7 2 game pointless sprees. I looked earlier today and I think it was 4 times, discounting Connor's rookie season, when both he and Draisaitl had failed to register a point in two consecutive games. Well. 5 now.
