This comment from Jett Woo❤
I think that growing up, I’ve been able to handle myself pretty well. I know that coming into pro that there will be a lot of bigger, stronger guys, but I don’t think anything about my game is going to change. If something like that happens, whether it’s clean, or dirty, I’m always on my teammate’s side no matter what. I wouldn’t say that it was a showcase or anything for me, but I think that it’s just normal for me when I see something like that, I’m going to get in there and protect my teammate any way that I can. - Reubenkincade
Sounds a lot better than Quinn Hughes:
When asked if he should seriously be considered for the Calder Trophy, Hughes didn't hesitate.
"Yeah, for sure, I think so," he said, according to The Hockey News' Ken Campbell. "I'm not the one making the call, but, especially the last 30 games, I don't know if anyone has been better than me."

Is there anyone on the team we haven’t complained about? Boeser maybe? - 1970vintage
Boeser has been by far the best player on the team this year. He should be exempt from any criticism this season. |

It sure us. Really hoping him Lind and Gadjovich can make it. We need some of that badly. - Reubenkincade
Benning will trade him for some over-paid 3rd line veteran who's 'good in the room' and provides 'leadership, for the playoff push. |

You gotta stop defending Hughes. Sure he's got good offense but stop overlooking his defensive deficiencies. - RealityChecker
But his offense so excellent we should be overlooking his warts. |

Benning gets fired after the 8-3 & 7-2 thrashing at the hands of the Leafs, over the next 2 games. |

He's only in his second year so I'm not quite as down on his game as you but my biggest fear is him turning into a mike green.
Green was also given Norris consideration due to his offense for a couple seasons but I don't think anyone considered him among the best dmen. |

you mean the Pierre Poilievre who just got shuffled out of the high-profile role of Conservative finance critic? He couldn’t even win the nomination to lead his party let alone the country. - bloatedmosquito
He's been asked to run for leadership of the Conservative party on more than one occasion and has turned it down every time citing that his family is more important. |

MVP so far? - NorthNuck
Lol, I think that was literally one of the questions Carol asked in the blog “at the halfway point who are the...”
Boeser - MVP
Edler - Unsung or whatever they call it.
Pettersson - skinniest player.
I forget what the categories are. |

As I have stated before about him and other players, I will point out their bad/piss poor play. No one goes unscathed from Reuben.😁
Hughes is a type of player this organization has needed for a long time, but not at 24 minutes a night and definitely not in defensive zone coverage late in periods or games when the team is leading. |

I get it.
I'm serious about fearing that he becomes a mike green. Green was never a dman. He was a rover.
The Canucks can't play with 3 forwards, 1d and 1 rover. They are absolutely not good enough. |

Fair. He should be criticism free until after the Leafs series. Which is the halfway point...and the team is already out of it.SMH |

True but I’m not convinced. I think his policies are too “right” for the majority of Canadians to embrace. It seems the party’s brain trust wants a more centered philosophy hence O’Toole. I just wish the PC’s would drop the whole social conservative angle and just stick to finance and business policy (which they were really good at). |

I wonder why we can’t carry on multiple conversations at once? If you go to other threads you’ll see a bunch of different topics being discussed at the same time. But yet in here, there can only be one topic that everyone must participate in. If you don’t you are asked to leave. Weird. |

I think most people realize he got shuffled out Because he makes O’Toole look as inept as Trudeau |

I think politics and religion are 2 divisive topics that are probably best to be held in separate forums, but I just pointed out the site, because some fine fella took the time to create it and the ref has said to keep the politics on that forum. |
