I’ve come to the conclusion the Sabres and Canucks franchises are all too similar; time to cut bait and cheer for a properly run organization - DraftandDestroy
You may want to stay away from the Flyers, they can't beat that other team in Pennsylvania.
May I suggest the Bruins. |

Alexis Lafreniere has always been a playmaker first, why anyone would call him the next Ovechkin is |

This is how of what's left of the season is to look forward to as small hopes are dashed and no fixes in sight.
There will be no trades and the Flames will sign 3 more Canuck UFAs.
This draft will suck and will be full of OJ and JV types.
It's time for everyone to find another team as things will not get good enough for Canucks to be a contender. |

Alexis Lafreniere is a really good hockey player, he’ll be fine eventually. Tim Stutzle is unbelievable, Calder Trophy candidate for sure. |

I believe they said a dominant winger like Ovechkin. It doesn't matter, the kid missed crucial development time during a global shutdown. He'll be fine, as advertised. |

He’s always had twice as many assists as he did goals, the only similarities to Ovechkin is his size and North South game. |

They will probably try to change their comments but the idiots exact words was he is going to be a generational player like the next Ovechkin.
As much fun as it is to talk to all you fine people I have other things to do so enjoy your evenings.

They both still fit a dominant winger profile. Had the name Jagr been mentioned instead is the point really any different? Kane yes because he's slighter in stature. |

When I think Ovechkin I think generational goal scorer, that doesn’t fit Alexis Lafreniere‘s game, I don’t see the similarities. There’s many dominant wingers, personally I’d pick someone else to compare him to. |

Well in the 2 Rangers games I have watched, his comparable would be Sven Baertschi. |
