Mtl are 10 W and 12 losses and spent 102 Mil this year . That is why they fired the coach.
Cgy was another team who were buyers to a less extent ,I think Treliving is getting nervous. Daryll also was a GM - VANTEL
Yep...and now the focus shifts to Treliving now that Ward is gone. Big...lol |

agreed. this was a message sent to the players.
and that implied message will be explicit in the next few weeks.
i wonder how this group would deal with a coach like that? i/we discussed hitchcock last week. how would creative types like EP and QH deal with strict systems coach? they definitely need it but would they accept it?
i'm not distilling it to the generational issue but there is some merit on the psychological makeup of the stars? unless you have buy in from the stars, sh!t could go sideways real quick with a hard a$$ coach. - RealityChecker
Ken Hitchcock is 69 years old, I would think the gruff aggressive coach is much milder now....don’t think he’s a solution for the Canucks. |

Aquilini (frank)ed Luongo, he allowed the mess to perpetuate itself. Luongo probably felt like Francesco brought in Tortorella so he was just as much at fault....who knows.
At the end of the day Luongo obviously didn’t give flying f**k about the recapture as he wasn’t injured he just didn’t want to play anymore. - Pacificgem
that's where it starts and ends for me.
give him a bobble head night and that's it for his team celebration. |

I think there's different perceptions of mismanaging the cap. If you're referring to the Canucks, they're always compliant. - Marwood
for seven straight seasons under Jim Benning. That’s impressive.
I think we underestimate his abilities as a GM. |

that was just a name spit balled.
i actually was talking about him being an advisor to FA in hiring a gm and coach. i think that would be his best contribution to this team.
reuby tuesday informed us he's a consultant to the oilers so it's all a moo point (joey from friends definition.) |

Luongo was an excellent player on an excellent team, perhaps a ring of honour in the future but DEFINITELY not a retired number for someone who couldn’t fake an injury to allow the Canucks to cheat like all the other cheaters |

It is not only those particular players that might not be able to handle a strict coach, I wonder about the fanbase being able to handle it.
I bring up some points on certain players, because of poor defensive play and usually get ridiculed for it, because some of the fanbase want/like the offensive part of the game, the defensive part, not sure the fans like that so much, unless it is a chance to criticize one of the non-shiny players. |

He’s spent to the cap limit every year and finished bottom ten in six of seven years. I mean, it’s Aquilini’s money so who gives a poop but if I were the owner I’d be like “WTF Man”? |

Stoner 1: There is no cap issue or so I am told.
Stoner 2: We're compliant
Stoner 1: Time to head to the woodshed
Stoner 2: I buy cheap gummy bears.
Stoner 1 : How much
Stoner 2: Real cheap man like 6 dollars each:
Stoner 1 : Man you are good with money . You should be the GM . What were we talking about again?
