my opinion of Michaelis was pretty good . The kid played hard, was posititional sound, most of the game.
He deserves another look.
But, what the fuck do I know. - Reubenkincade

I think we’d all rather watch him than Lui, no matter the outcome... |

I will reply to both of you.
Yeah, a welcome to the NHL moment, be hard on your man or he will score on you.
He played more than I thought TG would play him, so he must have not done anything too bad, Or Green was in a good mood because Virtanen was saying (frank) you to him by scoring. - manvanfan
They had a good line up last night and played a good 55 minute game. Good chemistry all lines.

Seems as if they do lack chemistry most nights. Players that just don't compliment each other outside the top 6.
I did like how Benning when asked about free agents only said something about re-signing Pearson and didn't mention anyone else. |

I think when Miller was not on the PP he played very well with Hoglander. Bo looked good and Jake looked very good. Gaudette and Sutter are getting chemistry also.
Truthfully I didn't even miss Pettersson last night |

It’s only projection, and things can still change pretty drastically but:
Leafs on pace for 85pts (1st)
Jets on pace for 75pts (2nd)
Habs on pace for 66pts (3rd)
Oilers on pace for 63pts (4th)
Flames on pace for 56pts (5th)
Canucks need to go 20-8-1 to get to 63
Need to win their games against Oil & Flames especially, but getting two in a row against the Leafs should be a priority. |

Not overly concerned unless the Canucks don't make the playoffs and he isn't traded. |

Thanks to Benning's presser's today, I think the team should extend Green for two years or fire him tomorrow. I just don't know of a legit replacement that would be better than Green is. He's not a bad coach, he's just not growing as fast as we would like him too. His teams are finding ways to lose games, he's got to make them find ways to win the close ones. I'm not sure a new voice in the room would help that right now unless it was an Asst coach to which (frank) no, none of them are better than Green. - manvanfan

I think they have a significant number of games against Oilers/Flames. If they win them all they only need to beat the Sens a couple times. |

Benning said that when he was on the 650 today. They will see if they are sellers when they get close to TDL

Showing signs of life lately. A 12 game win streak would go a long ways right now.
I kind of hope they sell no matter what and not waste the chance to get something for some of the players that have annoyed the fan base over the years. |

Totally. The Kiss Destroyer reissue my Daughter bought last month is a perfect example. It's compressed to shit. Still sounds good but lots of the dynamics are lost. I actually mixed and mastered my band's CD back in the day. I fully understand what critical listening entails. Try explaining cancellation to 2 guitar players competing to hear themselves at rehearsal. "No, honestly, you'll get louder if you turn it down." - Load Management
that's awesome...
Cool you did some mastering...pretty involving. I had buddies of mine who were studio musicians and introduced me to a lot of that stuff but not to that level. Had a friend who was in Radio a lot and did studio work/mastering on the side. Cool... especially once you begin to understand it all. |

It was a pretty solid couple of years of non-stop learning. All digital, so sitting in front of a computer screen staring at waves. I'll never do it again. It took the enjoyment out of the music for me. I'd rather play it.
On a side note, Badmotorfinger is an excellent sounding piece of vinyl. I'm listening to it right now and it's pretty much a flawless mix on most tunes. Matt Cameron is a mad genius on the kit.
