The hit in the pens game was way late albeit not a more than a 2 minute penalty. Guy always hits late and cheap to the head or a blindside hit its just ridiculous

Yes, he’s had a handful of suspensions in his career of various lengths. Can’t understand why there wasn’t a penalty called on it.

Saying habit makes it seem like some learned thing this is obviously who he is. I can appreciate players that play with an edge but Wilson to me is a menace. I think he’s perfectly capable of turning someone into a quadriplegic or worse and I feel the league is going to wait till that happens.

Wilson is a text book sociopath. He’s actually a decent player but he’s a blatant sociopath.

Whether or not I’m imagining this in my own head, but I think the fact he plays for the Caps has always been a reason he doesn’t get disciplined more harshly.

There are too many agitators nowadays, not enough fighters. There’s very little fear of retribution.

That’s exactly it. Also, the game has become much faster and the clutching and grabbing gets called a lot more often now. So, if you’re gonna use a roster spot on an enforcer, he better be able to skate and contribute.

This is exactly why having an enforcer in your lineup makes little to no sense. It’s not going to prevent a player like Wilson from doing what he did last night.
